From the military war room and the executive boardroom to the family living room, Ty Aldinger has devoted his career to “leading leaders”. With a focus on identifying progressive, “3rd Alternative” strategies that create lasting relationships among and between the stakeholders in today’s vibrant and successful dental practices, Ty moves executive coaching from practice management to “life leadership”.
As Managing Director for Fortune in Hawaii, he brings more than 30 years of leadership coaching, counseling, and consulting experience to the dental community. Retiring from the Navy with the rank of Captain, Ty moved into corporate leadership and has recently served as the senior executive for both Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems here in Hawaii.
Ty’s passion is in helping others discover both their corporate and personal calling to be nothing less than extraordinary. Whether a mom, dad, husband, wife, son, daughter, friend, neighbor, dentist, clinician, business leader, community member, surfer, golfer, or any other role that can be defined, he is particularly attuned to the delicate balance needed to be successful in today’s fast-paced world, and committed to assisting our extended dental practice ohana to define and live their own lives of significance.

When not hiking the Ko’olau’s, Ty and his wife Charlie live in Manoa with their Siamese sidekick, “Pookie”. Charlie is a professional communications and public relations consultant, currently working in the hospitality industry. The prides of their lives, daughter Stacy is a business consultant in the health care sector in San Francisco, and daughter Kelly is completing her Masters of Social Work in Portland, Oregon.
Ty sits on the Board of Directors of the Friends of Manoa Library, and is an active member of Malama Manoa, the US Naval Academy Alumni Association, and the First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu. In all of life, they are richly blessed.
