Deanna's approach honors confidentiality and distinctiveness of each client relationship. Her coaching is distinguished by a specialized interest and expertise in supporting leaders to enhance their people skills and develop a constructive leadership style, as well as a positive organization culture. Her extensive experience and expertise is in the areas of coaching leaders to become more effective leaders by establishing and maintain quality relationships, building high performance teams, and designing and assisting leaders as they plan and implement organizational change. She brings a blend of knowledge and expertise in human behavior, emotional intelligence, succession planning, and team/organizational dynamics to all of her coaching engagements.


In addition to coaching leaders individually, she also specializes in the custom design and facilitation of a “Team Coaching” process to assist teams in becoming a “high performance team”, which operates as collaborative team members who are accountable to each other in working together to successfully implement their organization’s strategic initiatives. This results in the alignment of the staff’s understanding of their roles and responsibilities and the commitment of all Team Members to the achievement of the organization’s success.


Deanna has coached leaders and Teams in such Health Care companies as Anthem BCBS (Elevance Health), Trilogy Health Services, AmeriHealth Caritas Health Plans, Individual medical practices, as well as Farm Bureau Insurance Companies, Proctor & Gamble, Ethicon (Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies), General Mills, Trane Corporation, and many non-profit organizations, family-owned businesses, and privately held entrepreneurial companies. Deanna’s approach is realistic and from a practical perspective, drawing on her 10 years of executive experience as a Vice President of Human Resources for a Fortune 100 health care company and her 15+ years as an entrepreneur.

She holds several certifications in various assessments, including Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI), Emotional Intelligence Index, FIRO-B, DiSC, Chally Predictive Assessment, and is experienced in the application and interpretation of 360-feedback assessments. She has designed and facilitated a range of leadership development workshops for corporate training, as well as, for delivery as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University, the University of Louisville, and Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Also, she serves as a Mentor for young professionals for FAU’s “Women in Executive Leadership” program. Deanna holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling from California State University and a Bachelor Arts degree in Sociology & Psychology from Indiana University.


Deanna has a love for travel and exploring new places and cultures, and has traveled to all 50 states, as well as 10 of the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and 3 European countries. Having lived in Southern California, her favorite place is always the “Beach”! She is also a strong supporter of those non-profits who study Alzheimer’s Diseases and is an avid Indiana University Basketball fan! Her favorite exercise is a brisk walk, and she has participated in many KY Derby Half-Marathon Walks.
